The D. José da Costa Nunes Kindergarten is a private educational institution, ownered by the Promotion Association of the Education of Macanese people, APIM.

Its main task is to safeguard the Portuguese language and culture in this special administrative region of Macau after December 20, 1999, through the adoption and implementation of an educational and cultural project realized only with the participation and commitment of all educational actors involved.
